Dragons 2 from 2

Round 5 saw your Deloitte Dragons come away with yet another win. A gritty and extremely physical game ended with the Dragons pulling away for a 36-10 victory over the Electric Boogaloo.

The Dragons frustrated their opponents with their speed and execution and by half time had built an insurmountable 22-5 lead.

Led by Tiff C's and Ben Hui's 10 points, which included some excellent perimeter shooting, the Dragons were able to quickly pile on the score, leaving their opponents with a massive uphill climb that proved way too much to bear.

Signs of frustration were starting to show, with our opponents opting to try to rough the Dragons up by getting a little physical on both ends of the court. However staunch defence from Matty the Rocket Fraser, David Big Fella Boyd, and the Dragons star recruits Brooke "Steve Tyler" Arrowsmith and Chowla Chow added to the Boogaloo's woes and only managed to frustrate them further, leading to offensive mistakes and easy baskets for the Dragons.

Many thanks must go out to our number 1 ticket holder, Janet Lewell for her support - even though Janet was extremely busy at work, she endeavoured to make it to support her Deloitte Dragons and saw us improve to 2 wins from as many games. The Dragons now reside on top of the ladder and are looking to stay there en route to an inaugural season championship.

Game 6 sees us pitted against the Dukes, at 8:30pm on Wednesday 23rd May. We would love to see some extra support, and will be sure to entertain those who come, with some silky skills and an exhibition of potent Deloitte teamwork.
